A private car with a licensed Jordanian driver, from any airport or city in Jordan to the hotel, and from the hotel on to Wadi Rum, Aqaba, the Dead Sea or Amman. Priced per car, confirmed before you travel, paid on the day. Open to hotel guests and anyone passing through Petra.
Where the car goes.
Every route is door to door. Airport pickups follow your flight and include the waiting time. A sedan takes up to three with luggage, a van up to seven.
Queen Alia Airport to Petra
The driver meets you in arrivals with your name, and you sleep 200 m from Petra that night.
Amman city to Petra
Pickup from your Amman hotel, down the Desert Highway or the King’s Highway on request.
Petra to Wadi Rum
To the visitor centre or straight to your camp’s meeting point. The classic next stop after Petra.
Petra to Aqaba or King Hussein Airport
For the Red Sea, the ferry to Egypt or a flight out of Aqaba.
Petra to the Dead Sea
Drop-off at the Dead Sea resorts, with a stop at Shobak Castle or Karak on the way if you like.
Little Petra and back

Do I have to stay at Edom Hotel to book a transfer?
No. The private transfers are open to anyone travelling to or from Petra. Non-guests meet the driver at the hotel.
Is the price per person or per car?
Per car. The price is the same for one passenger or the full car, and it is confirmed before you travel.
How do I pay?
In cash to the driver or at reception on the day, or added to your room bill if you stay with us. Nothing is paid online.
What cars do you use?
Air-conditioned sedans for up to three passengers with luggage and vans for up to seven, driven by licensed Jordanian drivers.
Can I change or cancel?
Yes. Reply to the confirmation or call reception, as early as you can.
