A swim in the courtyard, tea on the roof.
The pool sits in a sheltered courtyard inside the hotel walls, out of the wind, with loungers around it. Up on the roof, the terrace faces the Petra mountains and catches the whole sunset.

Inside the walls.
An outdoor pool in the courtyard, surrounded by the hotel on all sides so the desert wind never reaches it. Loungers, towels and a shaded corner for the hours when the sun is too strong.
The pool opens for the warm months, and can be heated on special request. Hotel guests swim free; visitors from outside the hotel can use it for an extra charge. After a morning in Petra, it is where families spend the afternoon.
Sunset over the Petra mountains.
Sofas and low tables along the parapet, lanterns on the posts, and the view straight across Wadi Musa to the Petra mountains. The terrace faces west, so every evening ends with the sun going down behind the ridge that hides the Treasury; most guests are up here for it. Tea, coffee, cold drinks and light food are served.
After sunset the town lights come on below and the moon climbs over the mountains. By day, the covered lounge behind the terrace becomes a meeting room.
The rooftop is also a venue for meetings and presentations: meet inside, take the breaks outside.
