The double is the room most couples book. A double bed with good linen, a writing desk, a wardrobe with bathrobes, and a balcony door that lets the morning light in early, which helps on the day you walk into Petra at opening.
The bathroom is marble, with a tub or a walk-in shower depending on the room, a hairdryer and toiletries. Air conditioning cools the room in summer and heats it in winter, when Wadi Musa nights are colder than most visitors expect.
Solo travellers book the double too. It is the same balcony and the same one-minute walk to the Petra gate, with the desk to plan the next day on.

About the double room.
Does every double room have a balcony?
Yes. Every room at Edom Hotel has a private balcony. Rooms face either the town or the mountains; if the view matters to you, add a note to your booking and reception will do what they can.
Can you add a cot for a baby?
Cots can be arranged on request. Ask reception or add it to the notes when you book.
Is breakfast included?
That depends on the rate you choose. The booking engine shows which rates include the breakfast buffet before you confirm.
