The roof has two halves. A covered lounge with daylight from three sides for the meeting, the presentation or the workshop. And the open terrace beside it, with the Petra mountains across the valley, for coffee breaks, lunch and the drink when the day is done. The terrace faces west, so the day ends with the sunset over the Petra mountains. Nobody has to leave the floor.
How a day runs on the roof.
The rooftop is the hotel’s meeting space with a view. The covered lounge is for the work: a board meeting around one table, a presentation to a team, a workshop with flip charts on the walls. Daylight comes in from three sides.
The open terrace is for everything between: coffee at eleven, lunch in the sun, the photo of the group with the mountains behind, and the drink when the day is done. The terrace faces the Petra mountains and takes the whole sunset, which is why evening receptions start here. Nobody has to change floors.
The hotel adds the rest: catering from the kitchen downstairs, the screen, projector and sound you need, rooms for the team, and the Petra gate a one-minute walk away for the morning after.
